Fixing the Front Door

TLDR

Telegram onboarding has been the biggest pain since launch. We're swapping it out, approving people by hand in the meantime, and the community inside keeps building on top of Hot Bot.

TLDR: Telegram onboarding has been the biggest pain since launch. We're swapping it out. Meanwhile, the people already inside are building on top of Hot Bot.

The Front Door Is Broken

Lots of people have been approved for days and still see "not approved" when they check through Telegram.

We tested it. The likely culprit: connecting Telegram from inside the X app instead of an external browser.

The workaround for now:

  1. Open the link in an external browser.
  2. If that still fails, verify with your wallet instead.

Not good enough. So we're replacing the onboarding flow entirely.

My words, mid-morning: "it was a bigger pain than we thought it would be."

Approving by Hand

Until the new flow lands, we're in the replies.

Approved. Invited. Added to the group. One by one, all day.

Team no sleep, but making sure everyone is looked after.

The Room Inside

Favorite thing about the Hot Bot community: everyone's working together to make it.

Strategies. MCP setups. Ideas for new features.

Absolute euphoric feeling vs being stranded in the Cold War of the PvP bundlers.

Built On Top

One of our users, @0xJohnB, built an anti-rug dashboard that reads his Hot Bot team through our MCP API.

Strategies, trades and activity in one view, next to his own anti-rug checks. Read-only by design.

Running on a Raspberry Pi 5 at home.

That's the point of exposing the stack. Cooking with gas.

Paper First

We push most users to trade on paper first. On purpose.

Get a feel for Hot Bot without losing money. Then give us feedback.

Subscriptions cover our costs. Proper software business.

Red Day

Whole market was down today.

Avg day in crypto. We ride.

Long on vision. Relentless on daily execution. 🔥🤖
